The house
A characterful Skye retreat with room to breathe.
Set on the stunning Trotternish peninsula, Rona View is around 25 minutes drive north of Portree and close to Staffin, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls and the Quiraing. The house began life as a traditional 1930s White House bi=uilt by my grandfather and has been modernised over time, while keeping the character of a highland croft house.

Two king rooms and one twin room provides comfortable space for guests. A well equipped kitchen dining area and a cosy lounge with picture windows and wood burning stove.

Picture windows and open views towards Rona Island, the mainland and dramatic Highland skies.
Dog friendly
Up to two dogs per booking, with bowls, towels and blankets provided on request. The garden is fenced, but as it is a working croft with sheep in the surrounding fields we ask that dogs are supervised in the garden and on a lead if they may be interested in the sheep.
Skye days
Wake to the sea. Return to the fire.
Spend the day walking coastal paths, visiting Staffin beach, exploring the Quiraing or heading into Portree. Back at Rona View, the garden, cosy lounge and wood-burning stove give you a quiet place to settle in after a day exploring.
